Notes: Sifu Redmond has been practicing martial arts since 1966, while a U.S. Marine in Okinawa. He began his Wing Chun training in 1970 in New York City's Chinatown studying from various Wing Chun Sifus such as Duncan Leung, Moy Yat, Lee Moy Shan, Alan Lamb, Henry Leung, and others. In 1983 Sifu Redmond became a student of Grandmaster William Cheung and was eventually promoted to 3rd degree Instructor in 1994. In 1989 Sifu Redmond moved to New Haven, CT and started the Yale University Wing Chun Kung Fu Club. From 1990 to 1994 Yale University's Physical Education Department hired Sifu Redmond to teach Wing Chun.
