Notes: Yip Man taught only modified Wing Chun openly which uses a horse stance with the feet turned inward to take away power and mobility. The modified front stance braces backwards in order to take away forward power (the same stance is used in praying mantis, but to go backwards!!!). Another problem with modified Wing Chun is the Bon Sao is allowed to collapse which would result in the practitioner getting hit. Yip Man only taught authentic Wing Chun to a few closed door students of whom only William Cheung teaches openly.

With over 25 years in the Martial Arts, Sifu has trained with Sijo James DeMile, one of Bruce Lee's orginal students, Sifu Kevin Seaman of the Dan Inosanto lineage, Suwat Sidthilaw of Thailand, as well as Hung Loi Au, Tang Ang, and Kai Lau of China.
